The Islamic Center of Hawaii holds Jummah prayer and Tarawa Prayer at 440 West Lanikaula Street, Hilo, HI 96720. This is a temporary prayer place. This place is rented from the Chuch of Holy Cross. Currently, we are in the process of building the Islamic Center of Hawaii including a mosque, graveyard, and community room. As of now, there is no other congregational Jummah prayer in Big Island, Hawaii. We hold Jummah prayer every Friday just after noon in the place of Zuhr prayer. Muslims pray five times each day following the Sun's sky path regardless of timezones. Currently, we do not hold other prayers congregationally except Jummah prayer. 

Jummah Prayer's Time and Place (Due to COVID-19 situation, we are not able to gather and hold Jummah Prayer now): 

Time: Jummah Prayer Starts at 12:15 pm and ends before 1:00 pm. Khutbah starts at 12.30 pm. 

Tarawa Prayer Time: It starts at 8 pm and ends at 9.15 pm. Due to Coronavirus we are not able to pray Tarawa this year. Please pray at home with your family members. 

Place: 440 West Lanikaula Street, Hilo, HI 96720 

Note: This is a community room belonging to the Church of Holy Cross. The church allows us to use their community room and pray there. Free parking is available next to the room. Please use the same entrance and go all the way to back. It is the last building at the Church of Holy Cross.
