Currently, we are seeking donations for the Islamic Center of Hawaii (mosque) to Build the First Mosque on Big Island, Hawaii, USA, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. 

Why? The Big Island of Hawaii does not currently have any mosque for the local Muslim community and Muslim tourists to pray and fellowship together. There has never been a mosque on the Big Island of Hawaii before. There is a growing need for infrastructure for our Muslim community. Alhamdulillah, we have welcomed many local people to Islam who would like to live and raise their families on the Big Island while still practicing their religion and having an environment that supports them. In order for us to be able to do that, we need to provide these families with a place to worship and congregate in order to continue building a strong community and a place of purpose to call our own.

Project Goals? Establish a place of worship, religious schools (learning center), facilities for halal food preparation, cemeteries, facilities for washing and shrouding bodies in preparation for burial, and other activities. Moreover, it is our hope to share Islam in Hawaii and other Pacific Islands and to be able to welcome anyone who would like to learn more about the beautiful religion of Islam.
